I have found my favourite cartoon from the '80's! Have a look, it's hilarious. It's a Japanese cartoon dubbed in Italian called Hello Spank. This is the title song. Isn't he cute?
I used to watch a lot of Japanese cartoons when I was a kid, as that's what they showed at the time on telly, it brings back many memories of happy times!

Rachel, it's a very silly Italian song, but also funny for who doesn't understand it, probably more!
Cheryl, it is true, what's on at the moment for kids is not as good, not like the old Walt Disney cartoons, they were priceless!
Calling it Spank and saying things like "gioca con me" (play with me) is a bit risqué if you ask me. I wonder if someone in RAI had a strange sense of humour, or whether it was unintentional (or perhaps I've just got a particularly dirty mind ;-)
It is so fun to use YouTube to find this type of memory. I won't tell you what era I find them from, though, you young'un!
